What is Bubble Tea?
Bubble Tea originated in Taiwan in the mid-1980s. Bubble Tea came out with dozens of new flavors, eventually leading to the spread of the drink through East Asian countries until landing here in the Unites States. BubbleTea ,commonly called “Boba”, is a sweet tea-based drink known for its pleasantly sweet taste and vast range of flavors. Tapioca starch jelly-like balls (shown below) is a common topping in these drinks, and the two paired together can be absolutely delicious. Although subjective, this is a ranking of the top ten Bubble Teas for those new to Boba.
