A Father’s Legacy, Inc. is thrilled to launch its inaugural Fathers and Families Fun Walk/Run on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 7:00 AM at beautiful Pratt Park in Fredericksburg, Virginia. With the inspiring theme “Celebrating Fathers, One Step at a Time!”, this event promises to be more than just a morning of exercise—it’s a celebration of fatherhood, family, and community.
A Walk for Wellness, A Run for Change
Designed as a family-friendly, community-centered experience, the Fun Walk/Run invites fathers, children, families, and supporters from all walks of life to come together for a morning of fun, fitness, and inspiration. Whether you’re walking to show support or running for the win, every step helps raise awareness around the importance of responsible fatherhood and the positive influence of engaged dads.
But this event goes deeper than just physical health. It’s about community wellness. Proceeds from the event will support A Father’s Legacy’s impactful programs, which focus on equipping adolescent fathers across Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford with the tools, mentorship, and leadership skills they need to thrive as parents.

What to Expect
Participants will enjoy a scenic course through Pratt Park, and prizes will be awarded to top finishers. There will be live entertainment, delicious food, and interactive family activities, making this a day to remember for all ages.
